For the most part, travel agents have access to the same deals one finds on the internet, and we know about cheap fares and deals, and can also offer travel perks you won't generally find or get on your own.

More importantly, you get the benefit of our firsthand expertise, our personal connections worldwide, our personalized service whose aim is to properly service your needs, and the security of dealing with a human being who will help be your advocate if something goes wrong.

Your vacation is the personal responsibility of a professional travel experts from start to finish. Your paperwork isn’t passed on to a paper-mill or a far-off country – it’s handled by the same individual who assisted you, or by a member of their team, so your best interests are looked after properly.

If for any reason you’re not satisfied with your personal travel planner, you are welcome to request a change. Our management is also available should you need to speak to them regarding a problem with your reservation or vacation.

For most people that’s rarely the lowest priced trip, just like the lowest priced car isn’t usually the vehicle that best meets your needs. You never want a cheap vacation to be an expensive mistake. Likewise, you don't want to overpay for a vacation.

If you have a price for the vacation you want that’s less than our quote, please tell us! Maybe there are differences you or we missed, and perhaps we can better that price, or maybe we're not comparing apples to apples. In some cases, just booking a different flight could save you money. We’ll always make the effort to explain any price differences and, if we can do better, we both win!

It’s been suggested that travel agents only sell select products on which they earn more money. While this can be true, the issue is more complex. We work with travel companies around the world that are the best at what they do, and which, from our experience, deliver the best value to our customers.

There are many good travel companies around the world, and we’re happy to sell their products. However, we know our extensive list of worldwide preferred suppliers ensures you terrific vacation values, and should something go wrong, they’ll jump when we ask them to. If we sell you something we recommended that doesn’t provide the experience you’re looking for, we lose credibility with you. This is a far greater loss to us than any short-term financial gain. Our travel experts are full-time professionals passionate about travel. Many have achieved the highest professional accreditation, as Certified Travel Counselors (CTC’s), or Master or Accredited Cruise Counselors (MCC’s, ACC’s). At TravelStore we rate our consultants as: Master Travel Planners, the crème de la crème of our industry who have been in the business over ten years, and serve a discerning and sophisiticated clientele who demand quality vacations; Travel Planners, in business at least five years, and expert in handling most travel products such as cruises, packages and tours; and Associate Travel Planners, who are usually newer in the business, being mentored, and rarely assist a customer without working in tandem with a more experienced agent.

In addition to searching our database, which lists many travel products, you can also select from some of our featured travel planners to work with, based on where you’re interested in traveling.

Typically for most tours and cruises, we do not charge professional consulting fees.

Many travelers require customized or specialized travel arrangements. For these customers we often have a non-refundable planning fee, which covers our time and expertise in helping plan and research your arrangements. Should a planning fee be required, we are confident you’ll get back more than the fee amount in the value of our expertise and personal service we provide you. The travel expert you work with will advise you accordingly.
